Cindy will have her cath on the first day of September. My pre PC visit jitters have set in. I had an anxiety attack within minutes of finding out the date of her cath.
Good news, Cindy is now enrolled in our state's basic health plus program for low income children. There are no premiums and she gets to keep group health and she is also has free dental, mental health and vision coverage!! And perhaps best of all she can ride the para transit bus to her doctor appointments in Tacoma and Port Orchard.
This basic health program is wonderful, it will keep Cindy off of ssi and or welfare and therefore will save the state money in the long run.
Cindy had her cath and the results were favorable. Her VSD's looked small and the PC is sure that her PA band is ready to come off. Now we are waiting for him to call back after he presents his case to the surgical conference. Is this deja vue or what? We'll see what the surgeons say before we get too excited.
One of my hens got broody and hatched a chick but she abandoned her nest after the first chick hatched. Today I cracked open all the eggs she abandoned and found lots of dead chicken embryos but one had a live chick in it. The chick is good sized, I think it will live.
